Inwido is looking for a Group Business Controller who wants to grow shape insights and play a key role in driving performance across an international Group.

Group Business Controller

The Business Controller is part of the Group Finance team and is responsible for overseeing and coordinating financial planning analysis and reporting at Group level. The focus is to provide the group with analysis insights and tools needed for informed decision-making. You will work closely with the group management the business unites and the related companies finance team to provide efficient reliable and proactive business control analysis for the Group.

The Business Controller is responsible for the business intelligence system (PowerBI). As Inwido operates a highly decentralised business model the role requires collaboration with local finance and management team supporting and advising them in forecasting reporting and system usage.

Group Finance is a small closeknit and collaborative team where tasks often overlap and where everyone plays an active role in developing processes sharing knowledge and supporting the wider organisation.

Why this role

In this role you will take on broad responsibilities work independently within a small and collaborative finance team in a publicly listed international group. You will work closely with the Group Management giving you exposure to key decisions and strategic discussions. The position offers the opportunity to grow and develop your financial and business acumen and is a natural step towards future senior finance role including a potential path to the role as CFO.

Examples of main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the forecasting and budget process.
  • Oversee monthend quarterend and annual reporting including preparation of key analyses and management reports.
  • Monitor and analyse key business metrics to support datadriven decisionmaking.
  • Follow up and evaluate capex projects and investment performance.
  • Act as system owner for Business Intelligence tools (Power BI) and Planning Analytics (AS) including continuous development data quality oversight and user support.
  • Serve as a central link between data business intelligence and Group financial management ensuring consistent accurate and businessrelevant insights.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and provide business control support to Group Management and other Group functions.
  • Support the M&A process with financial analysis and decisionmaking material during preacquisition phases.
  • Support the CFO and CEO in preparing analysis and materials related to capital markets communication and analyst expectations.
  • Prepare weekly sales/order reporting and flash analyses ensuring timely insights to Group Management.
  • Work closely with the CFO to prepare material for management meetings business reviews and Board presentations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements of financial processes system solutions and data structures across the Group.

This position is based at the headquarters in Malmö Sweden and reports to the CFO.

Demand profile

Below is the profile we believe will set you up for success experience and capabilities that help you contribute from day one while still offering room to grow:

  • Masters degree in Finance Business Administration or comparable
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business controlling financial analysis or similar roles
  • Experience from and strong interest in BI-systems
  • Advanced level in Excel
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills in English
