Te Whiwhinga mahi The opportunity

As an Asset Manager youll provide data and technical management expertise to support the development and oversight of operational asset maintenance and renewal programmes for all assets within the state highway corridor. Youll interpret and analyse data validate field conditions and manage the traffic counting contract to ensure optimal asset performance longevity and value for money. Your work will directly support evidence-based investment and operational decisions that keep New Zealands transport network running smoothly.

Ko koe tēnei About you

You are a technically skilled detail-oriented professional with:

Experience applying asset management principles and systems to transport infrastructure
Ability to interpret complex technical datasets and develop practical maintenance programmes
Understanding of pavement engineering and highway surface data
Experience in field validation network inspections and asset condition assessment
Strong analytical and communication skills
Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering Asset Management or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
