Role
Automation processes using robots can range from a few simple steps to complex interactions involving robot motions perception tool changing or force-based process authoring the relevant actions must be identified parameterized and orchestrated to give robots the ability to fulfill a goal envisioned by a this internship you have the opportunity to facilitate process authoring by combining natural language inputs agentic AI and task planning to simplify user interaction and advance the state-of-the-art.
How your work moves the mission forward
- Combine agentic AI and task planning to make creating behavior trees faster and simpler.
- Contribute towards the development of robotics software (including our platform Flowstate).
- Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals in modern software development practices.
- Explore and implement solutions in software development in Python.
- Employ the latest models in Generative AI for process authoring.
Skills you will need to be successful
- PhD student in Computer Science or related field required ideally with background in task planning.
- Knowledge and proficiency in modern software development in Python.
- Enthusiasm for solving challenging problems in full-stack software artificial intelligence and robotics.
- Experience in implementing systems using large language models to solve meaningful tasks.
- Knowledge of task planning required ideally even combined with motion planning
- Knowledge about building LLM-based agent systems required.
