The Opportunity
Are you a student or recent graduate looking to gain experience and grow in the field of finance As we continue with our aggressive growth strategy we are seeking a Part-Time Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Manager of Finance this will be a part-time position Monday-Friday at our SE Edmonton office.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform ad hoc financial and data analysis as requested.
Assist with account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of supporting documentation.
Support year-end closing activities including data validation and report preparation.
Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support management insights.
Organize and maintain financial records and analysis files for easy reference.
Collaborate with team members to improve reporting processes and data accuracy.
Assist in Procore System Management
What we are looking for
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Power BI.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting Finance or Data Analytics (preferred).
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Availability to start immediately
