Senior Analyst - Transit Assets
The City of Colorado Springs is ready to welcome a Senior Analyst - Transit Assets for the Public Work division. As a Senior Analyst for this team you will provide oversight of the Transit facilities program which includes theTransit facility and bus stop maintenance by monitoring the program and day to day tasks.
This is a special at-will position funded by a FTA grant received by Transit annually.

As a Senior Analyst for this team you will:- Create scopes of work and independent cost estimates
- Management and oversight of vendor contracts
- Oversee transit asset management recording fixed asset acquisitions dispositions and depreciation
- Transit asset inventory and accountability
- Support the Transit Asset Management plan
- Asset data management and reporting
- Manage capital planning
- Transit Information Technology project coordination and oversight
- Track and manage Information Technology requests
- Oversee work quality training instruction and scheduling of personnel within the Asset Group
- Review and update policies and procedures
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:Knowledge of:- Asset management
- Contracting process
- Risk Management
- Budget implementation and management
- Pertinent federal state and local laws codes and regulations
Ability to:- Oversee coordinate and implement assigned projects
- Communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related area of study.
- Five years of full-time professional experience in a related field
