Job Summary
Job Title: Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Palatka FL
Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent
Available Shifts:
- Days: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (Rotating weekends)
- Nights: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (Rotating weekends)
Role Overview:This position is for a Med-Surg RN in a small acute care hospital environment. You will care for adult patients across a general medical-surgical unit while collaborating closely with physicians and the care team. This is a great opportunity for nurses who value teamwork learning and a supportive leadership structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments on admission and throughout each shift
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Document care accurately and in a timely manner
- Respond to patient needs and provide bedside support
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses medications and care plans
Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of Acute Care RN experience (required)
- Active Florida RN license or compact multistate license
- Compact nurses must obtain FL license within 60 days if relocating
- Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
- BLS required within 30 days of start
Unit Details:
- Med-Surg West: 24 beds
- Med-Surg East: 28 beds
- Not a trauma facility

Compensation:
- Hourly Range:
- $29.73/hr entry-level range
- $37.75/hr 10 years experience
- Up to $43.20/hr 18 years experience
- Shift Differentials:
- Nights: $4.25/hr
- Weekends: $2.00/hr
- Sign-On Bonus:
- $10000 Day Shift
- $15000 Night Shift
- Relocation Assistance: Available case by case
