Job Description Summary

The VP Finance Manager Reconciliations provides leadership and development to the team responsible for ensuring accurate and timely completion of monthly reconciliations of GL Balance Sheet accounts for WTFC banking and non-banking entities ensuring the department is operating according to corporate policies and procedures. Recognizes and communicates to Senior Finance Management known monetary and non-monetary risks to the organization. Identifies and prepares department for new initiatives and/or acquisitions that have direct impact to Corporate Finance-Reconciliations.

What Youll Do

Oversee and assist with department operations. Complete all assigned SOX related documentation for audit purposes.
Participate in and prepare department for direct impact of new initiatives/acquisitions.
Develop and monitor department control reports that are used within the department and those distributed to senior management.
Staff management which includes training setting department goals performance reviews for direct reports and salary and bonus recommendations.
Additional hours beyond the standard 8-hour day may be required in certain situations to complete reconciliation-related tasks in expected timeframes. This could be the result of a system conversion or entity acquisition.

Knowledge/Skills/Background/Experience

Bachelors degree
5-7 years of prior corporate management experience with working knowledge of Bank Accounting/Finance.
Strong written and verbal communication is necessary.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $98000-$132000 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors such as a candidates qualifications skills and experience.
