Job Summary
The Ultrasound Technologist (OB/GYN) is responsible for performing high-quality obstetrical and gynecological sonographic examinations in an outpatient womens health setting. This role requires strong clinical skills patient-centered care and the ability to independently conduct diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Perform obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound examinations in an outpatient clinic setting
Conduct transabdominal and endovaginal sonographic procedures
Accurately assess and document:
Normal and abnormal pelvic anatomy
Fetal anatomy and biophysical profiles
Fetal anomalies including ectopic pregnancies
Identify and evaluate expected findings across all three trimesters of pregnancy
Apply appropriate measurement techniques and imaging standards
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Ensure patient comfort safety and confidentiality throughout procedures
Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support diagnostic and care decisions
Adhere to infection control safety and quality assurance standards
Required Qualifications
Degree or certification as an Ultrasound Technologist
Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN ultrasound experience (required)
At least 1 year of recent outpatient clinic experience within the past 3 years
Demonstrated expertise in obstetrical and gynecological sonography
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment
