Requirements

A. Maintenance & Breakdown Management

- Ensure all critical and routine maintenance spares are ready and available for plant operations.

- Take the lead during any plant equipment breakdown to diagnose issues and restore operations as quickly and safely as possible following all SOPs checklists and safety protocols.

- Perform mechanical maintenance on compounding line equipment including:

Extruders

Pelletizers

Pumps & Filters

Scrubbers

B. Shift Operations Support

- During shift hours coordinate activities as directed by the Shift Supervisor.

- Maintain proper logs of breakdowns spares consumption and maintenance tasks completed during the shift.

- Ensure all maintenance work follows LOTO PPE usage and Work Permit System compliance.

C. Production Support

- Assist production technicians when maintenance workload is low including:

Packing

Charging raw materials into hoppers

Operating auxiliary equipment

The Ideal Candidate:

- Hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance in a compounding line or similar manufacturing environment.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.

- Knowledge of pumps extruders filters conveying systems vacuum systems and pelletizers.

- Ability to work independently during shift operations.

- Effective teamwork and communication skills.

- Basic knowledge of SAP/CMMS (preferred).

Qualification & Experience

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

- 25 years of mechanical maintenance experience in compounding polymer processing chemical or similar industries.

- Experience in shift-based maintenance operations preferred.
