We create proofs-of-concept help our clients build new products nurture existing ones and provide services in production environments. The project and the team
We develop modern Software Defined Networking (SDNs) and Network Operating systems-based solutions for the leading networking equipment manufacturers. We work with cloud-native containerized software and services as well as with user-space and kernel-space drivers for advanced network equipment such as switches routers and smart network interface cards (smartNICs).
What else you should know:
The team consists of developers QA Automation and DevOps Engineers
We often work using hardware and tools provided by the client
Our projects can be managed by our EMs or directly by the client
We use Agile methodology (kanban/scrum) whenever possible
We work with clients from the US and Europe
Your role
As a part of the project team you will be responsible for:
Developing test automation using Python
Contribute to Python-based test framework functionalities
Contributing to document test scenarios
Ensuring components you are responsible for are well-covered by automated tests
Being proactive and motivated to deliver high-quality work
Communicating and collaborating effectively with other developers
Conducting code reviews for pull requests (PRs) raised by team members
Maintaining project documentation in Confluence
Do we have a match
As a QA Automation Engineer you must meet the following criteria:
Experience in Python programming (version 3)
Experience with Test Automation
Knowledge of network concepts - switching and routing preferably Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge
Knowledge of virtualization concepts e.g. bare-metal hypervisors containers
Good knowledge of English (B2 level).
Beyond the criteria above we would appreciate the nice-to-haves:
Knowledge of Cisco iOS XR/XE devices
Experience in automation of network devices YANG models NETCONF gRPC/gNMI protocols
Testing / QA knowledge preferably ISTQB certification or equivalent knowledge
