Job Summary
Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive impactful decisions Join Axpo Iberia SL as a Business Intelligence Specialist and play a key role in shaping innovative solutions across market and credit risk domains. Bring your expertise in Power BI Power Automate and Power Apps to deliver cutting-edge solutions with a collaborative team.
What you will do:
Develop and deliver end-to-end BI solutions using Microsoft BI Stack (Power BI Power Automate Power Apps) and SQL (Oracle/SQL Server).
Collaborate with market and credit risk stakeholders to design develop and implement best-practice solutions.
Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated builds tests and deployments.
Drive release management standards including version control and source-controlled deployments across the Axpo Group.
Provide 1st and 2nd level support for in-house Power BI tools and reports ensuring troubleshooting performance tuning and optimization.
Contribute to BI design decisions and collaborate with Analyst Programmers and the Architecture team.
Maintain system documentation and enforce governance standards.
What you bring & who you are:
Degree in information science engineering or equivalent professional experience.
5 years of experience with Microsoft BI Stack (Power BI Power Automate Power Apps) and SQL development (SQL Server/Oracle).
Proven expertise in release management CI/CD pipelines and version control.
Experience in troubleshooting Power BI report performance and managing Power BI environments.
Ideally knowledge of finance commodities or energy trading with a focus on market risk and credit risk.
Strong communication skills independence and a team-oriented mindset.
Desirable: Azure platform experience API usage (Power BI REST API Active Directory API) scripting (PowerShell Python) and exposure to modern data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake.
