Job Summary

Job Description:

5 10 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering roles.
Strong hands-on experience with dbt Core (not just dbt Cloud).
Must have 2-3 years strong Hands-On on dbt Core
Deep understanding of dbt internals including how dbt compiles SQL manages state and executes runs.
Proficiency in Jinja templating and writing custom macros.
Experience with custom materializations and advanced dbt configurations.
Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (star/snowflake schema normalization/denormalization).
Proficient in SQL and performance tuning.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools like dbt Cloud/CLI Git dbt artifacts and dbt tests.
Experience working in agile teams and collaborating across functions.
