Job Summary

Job Title: Service Technician
Location: Califon NJ
Employment Type: Full-Time On-site
Salary: $26/hr $37/hr
Work Hours: Monday Friday 7:30 AM 4:00 PM

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join a growing energy services company. This role involves servicing installing and maintaining LP propane appliances and tanks for residential commercial and industrial customers. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious customer-focused and comfortable working in various outdoor conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Install repair and service LP propane appliances tanks and equipment.
Diagnose troubleshoot and repair propane systems including identifying and repairing leaks.
Perform routine maintenance cleaning and inspections of propane equipment.
Respond to customer requests including emergency service calls for insufficient or no heat.
Ensure compliance with all municipal and safety guidelines.
Maintain service vehicle cleanliness and conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections.
Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
Lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending climbing and reaching.
Travel within the assigned service area and adapt to seasonal and weather conditions.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience as a service technician installing maintaining or repairing equipment or systems.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with HazMat endorsement and a clean driving record.
Current DOT Medical Card.

Preferred Qualifications:

CETP Certification.
Experience with MS Office and Outlook.
Strong communication interpersonal and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment.
