Job Summary:
The Interventional Radiology Technologist will operate specialized X-ray equipment to produce images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. This role involves direct patient care equipment maintenance and collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment. The technologist must possess strong technical skills attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Location:Olympia Washington United States
Responsibilities:
- Operate interventional radiology equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare patients for procedures including explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
- Monitor patients vital signs during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions.
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance.
- Document patient information and procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Float between various like units within skill set.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- ARRT (R) certification.
- Washington State License.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an IR Tech.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- IR/CV Certification.
Special Considerations:
- Floating is required between like units.
- Travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility will not be eligible for a travel contract.
- All RTO must be included in the submittal.

- 4x10 Days (0700-1730)
