Title - L3 Network engineer with Azure Devops

Location Mckinney TX ( Onsite ) in person client interview

The L3 Network Engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining the advanced network infrastructure of the company. This role involves ensuring seamless connectivity optimal performance and secure data transmission across the organizations network. Key responsibilities include implementing cutting-edge networking solutions enhancing network security and supporting digital transformation initiatives. The L3 Network Engineer collaborates closely with IT managers network architects cybersecurity specialists system administrators and occasionally executive leadership to achieve common goals. The role typically reports to the IT infrastructure manager or Chief Information Officer (CIO) within the company structure. Success in this role is measured through various key performance indicators (KPIs) such as network uptime security incident response time successful project implementations adherence to best practices and effective troubleshooting and resolution of network issues.

Their duties and responsibilities include:

Designing implementing and managing continuous integration testing and deployment methods for network infrastructure
Automating network infrastructure and system management activities by scripting against APIs for network devices
Ensuring the availability performance scalability and security of productions systems
Collaborating with developers system engineers and data scientists to ensure efficient operation of the companys networks and systems
Managing and troubleshooting Linux servers for networking issues.
