About the Opportunity
We are hiring a dedicated Medical Coordinator to manage end-to-end operations for the Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva Trust Scheme within a busy hospital setting. The MEDCO will be the primary clinical liaison across treating consultants patients and families trust authorities PMAM and the head-office claims team to ensure accurate documentation timely pre-authorizations and seamless claim processing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Verify beneficiary eligibility under the Trust scheme and counsel patients/families on coverage scope and process.
- Coordinate with treating consultants to obtain precise diagnoses treatment plans investigation reports operative notes and discharge summaries.
- Initiate track and follow up pre-authorizations via the Trust/TMS portal; escalate delays to relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate discharge approvals and trigger claim initiation with the Head Office Claims Team; manage resubmissions and query responses.
- Maintain complete audit-ready clinical documentation and ensure compliance with scheme-specific requirements and timelines.
- Act as the primary liaison for trust officials on clarifications grievance resolution and periodic compliance updates.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MBBS (Mandatory)
- F-emale candidates only (as per requisition)
- Proven proficiency with TMS / Trust portals and hospital information systems
- Strong knowledge of clinical terminology and medical records management
- Experience in pre-authorization processing and claims coordination
- Good computer literacy (MS Office) and ability to maintain accurate timely documentation
Preferred
- Prior exposure to NTR Vaidya Seva AB-PMJAY ArogyaSri or similar government health schemes
- Experience working with a head-office claims team or third-party administrator (TPA)
- Background in hospital patient liaison or medical records coordination
