Electronic Test & Service Technician
Location: Hunmanby North Yorkshire
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm
Salary:DOE
Job type: Full-time permanent
The Role
Electronic Test & Service Technician required to carry out bench-based testing fault-finding servicing calibration and repair of electronic products within a controlled workshop environment.
This is a specialist role. Full product training will be provided so candidates with strong transferable electronic experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Test fault-find service repair and calibrate electronic products
- Carry out bench testing and functional checks to written procedures
- Solder and rework electronic components as required
- Complete service records and job documentation accurately
- Identify faults and repair requirements during testing
- Maintain quality standards and attention to detail
About You
- Background in electronic test repair service / fault finding
- Confident fault-finding on electronic circuits or PCBs
- Comfortable soldering including basic rework (training available if needed)
- Able to follow technical procedures and work methodically
- Electronic qualifications desirablebut not essential
