DSUS General Equipment Cleaner

POSITION SUMMARY:

The General Equipment Cleaner will perform general custodial responsibilities for assigned equipment and facilities.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Performs basic maintenance cleaning such as sweeping and cleaning.
• Performs basic cleaning of assigned equipment such as vacuuming whipping surfaces glass exterior panels stainless steel and plastic bins.
• Complete all safety training as assigned by the Company.
• Participate in weekly safety/operational discussion meetings.
• Compliance with all DSUS safety programs policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by management from time to time.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must be committed to working safely while accomplishing all tasks and promoting a safe work environment at all times.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous work experience in an Airport environment.

Computer Skills:

Basic computer knowledge. Ability to log in retrieve and answer emails and take training.

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to read write speak and understand English.
• Must be able obtain and maintain an Airport Security badge
• Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and be insurable under the Companys insurance policy
• Must be able to comply with the companys Drug and Alcohol policy.

Works in all areas located on Airport property. May be around dust dirt moving machinery temperature changes heights and noise levels below OSHA minimum requirements. Use of PPE is required.
