Job Summary
The Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled Kubernetes Cloud Engineer to join our clients Enterprise Cloud Operations team. This role focuses on deploying managing and monitoring containerized applications across both public and private cloud environments. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Kubernetes Red Hat OpenShift and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) as well as strong observability and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills are essential as this is a customer-facing role.

- Role: Kubernetes Cloud Engineer
- Experience: 6-9 Years
- Work Location: Phoenix AZ
- Project Duration: 12 Month Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters in public and private cloud environments
- Configure and manage Red Hat OpenShift and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters
- Implement and maintain observability dashboards and metrics using Prometheus and Grafana
- Configure alerts and monitoring to ensure system reliability and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues using observability tools such as Splunk Dynatrace and others
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud operations and enterprise workloads
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers regarding operational status issues and improvements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field required; Advanced degree preferred
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in public and private cloud environments
- Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana including dashboards metrics and alert configuration
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk Dynatrace or similar
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills especially in customer-facing interactions
