Job Summary

The City of North Salt Lake is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Project Engineer (Grade 32; salary range: $109800 to $161600 based on qualifications). This full-time position involves professional and administrative work related to the planning review design and construction of public and private infrastructure. The Project Engineer ensures compliance with City codes and standards coordinates with consultants and contractors and supports the timely completion of municipal projects.
The Project Engineer will review engineering designs manage project budgets and schedules conduct site inspections and collaborate with City departments developers and the public to deliver well-designed and sustainable community infrastructure. The role requires strong technical knowledge quality oversight during construction and effective communication to ensure projects meet safety cost and regulatory standards.
