Band 6 Occupational Therapist Mental Health
Location: Community-based
Contract: Temporary (3 months)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week (3 days working pattern TBC)
Start Date: ASAP
Our client is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a Community Mental Health on a temporary basis. This role involves supporting individuals with memory difficulties delivering person-centred occupational therapy interventions within a community setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention for individuals accessing the Memory Service
Support patients to maintain independence and function in daily activities
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to contribute to assessment care planning and reviews
Complete timely and accurate documentation in line with service requirements
Requirements:
HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
Experience working within community or mental health services (Memory Service experience desirable)
Strong assessment communication and clinical reasoning skills
Ability to work autonomously and manage a part-time caseload
