Job Summary

Subject to formal establishment a vacancy will arise for 1 x OF3s to serve as CSOC Transformation SO2bat Cyber & Special Operations (CSOC) MOD Main Building on FTRS (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 01 Apr 2026 (or earlier/later subject to formal establishment and candidate status).

Unit Function:

CSOC Tx is CSOCs flagship transformation programme charged with ensuring the Command can meet the challenges of the future and deliver on our three purposes: Supporting Campaigning; Delivering Integration; and Leading Cyber.

CSOC TX is by its nature a complex programme that requires continual re-evaluation of its priorities pace and scope to ensure it is delivering optimally in a crowded context. This requires individuals to be flexible mentally agile and comfortable working in an ambiguous environment.

Position Role:

Supports the implementation of CSOC op model changes in response to Defence Reform direction in support Head CSOC Tx and Director Strategy.

Within the Programme various Projects are being undertaken to deliver the vision for the Command; individuals will work within one of these Project Teams. Roles will vary and will change depending on individuals KSEB priorities within the Programme and external factors (such as Defence Reform and the Strategic Defence Review). Regardless individuals will be intimately involved in the development of projects to deliver the output agreed within the accepted timeframe. The Programme utilises the Agile methodology and as such specific role responsibilities are difficult to define.

Responsibilities:
1. Undertake project design work as directed by the Chief Product Owner (CPO) and Scaled Scrum Master.
2. Liaise with various areas of CSOC and Defence.
3. Promote the CSOC transformation programme within the Command and wider-Defence.
4. Interact with the CSOC Strat Centre HLBs and stakeholders x-MOD in line with future operating model derived from the SDR and Def Reform.
5. Maintain a day-to-day relationship with stakeholders supporting sub working groups and project development.
6. Any other tasks as directed by Dep Dir Transformation.
