Job Summary

The Program Assistant plays a vital role in coordinating the daily flow of Corewell Health East cardiac rehabilitation program.

Essential Functions

  • Communicate with supervisors staff physicians and their office teams as well as the appointment center and patients to ensure a smooth scheduling process.

  • Maintain patient files and provide essential clerical support including charge entry and assistance with insurance explanations.

  • Coordinate special patient staff and professional events.

  • Assist with the scheduling daily flow and clerical operations.

  • Data entry clerical and computer tasks

  • Maintains the database

  • Files and copies paperwork/charts

  • Completes reports

  • Answers phones

  • completes chart audits

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma

Preferred

  • Experience in Microsoft Outlook

  • One year experience in related field.
