Band 7 Occupational Therapist Specialist SEN School

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join a specialist SEN school team in Liverpool. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people withADHD Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs helping them achieve independence and thrive in their education.
Conduct holistic assessments of pupils sensory motor and functional needs.
Plan and deliver evidence-based OT interventions (1:1 small-group and classroom-embedded).
Contribute to EHCP reviews and support the achievement of pupils individual outcomes.
Work closely with teachers teaching assistants parents and external agencies to embed OT strategies across the curriculum.
Provide training coaching and guidance for staff and families on sensory regulation functional skills and independence.
Lead on developing whole-school approaches to sensory-friendly environments and inclusive practice.
Dip COT BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy with HCPC and BAOT registration.
Previous experience in a special school setting or CAMHS service.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students staff and parents.
