Ansible Developer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform for cloud and on-prem environments

• Automate server provisioning configuration management and software deployment using Ansible

• Build and maintain CI/CD infrastructure pipelines integrating Ansible and Terraform

• Collaborate with cloud and development teams to define infrastructure standards

• Enforce governance tagging and security compliance through automation

• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and implement auto-remediation workflows

• Maintain documentation for automated systems and processes

• Drive adoption of DevOps and SRE best practices

Must-Have Skills:

• Terraform (modules workspaces remote backends state management)

• Ansible (roles playbooks inventories dynamic configuration)

• Require C#

• Proficiency in scripting (e.g. Bash Python or PowerShell)

• Experience with Linux administration

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab Azure DevOps)

• Version control using Git

• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP)

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Vault Packer or Docker/Kubernetes

• Understanding of networking DNS load balancing

• Exposure to monitoring tools (Prometheus Datadog etc.)

• Knowledge of compliance frameworks and policy-as-code (e.g. OPA)

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience)

• 37 years in IT automation DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles
