• Oversee the Universitys electrical infrastructure and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Provide technical support for critical electrical projects that impact campus-wide operations and sustainability goals.
• Full-time appointment on an ongoing basis.
• Base salary range: $116262 $127078 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

Campus Management oversees the planning development and maintenance of the Universitys physical environment. Our team ensures that campus facilities are safe efficient and aligned with strategic objectives supporting world-class teaching and research.

About the opportunity

• Manage electrical services across diverse campus facilities including regional sites.
• Support major electrical projects by working with consultants and contractors and providing technical advice
• Contribute to energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability goals.

About you

• Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
• Extensive knowledge and application of Electrical Regulations such as (but not limited to) AS3000 and Office of Energy and Western Power requirements.
• Substantial knowledge of operation of high and low voltage sub-stations and switchgear.
• Substantial knowledge of electrical standards for building and construction including electrical safety requirements.
• Practical knowledge of building management systems vertical transport communication and fire services. This includes in-ground fibreoptic assets.

Note: A High Voltage Licence will be required by the successful applicant.
