Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY: A middle school volleyball coach is responsible for teaching student-athletes the fundamentals of volleyball while building teamwork confidence and sportsmanship. The coach plans and leads practices develops skills such as serving passing setting hitting and defensive positioning and prepares players for games through strategy and conditioning. They also set expectations for effort behavior and eligibility communicate with families and school staff and create a positive team culture focused on growth discipline and having pride in representing the school.

QUALIFICATIONS: This position is a volleyball coach with no teaching position. This position will start for the 2026-2027 school year.

REPORTS TO: Middle School Principal

FLSA STATUS: EXEMPT: Employees primarily performing work that is not subject to overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Overtime pay is not required by FLSA for exempt employees; SEE: 0Class%20employees.
