Job Summary
Days and Shift Information
- Monday through Friday 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Outbound truck flow may require staying beyond scheduled end time as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the safety compliance of over-the-road contract truck drivers picking up at the Cofield location ensuring proper PPE usage and adherence to site safety protocols.
- Follow all outbound shipment safety and quality control procedures including verification of tag numbers proper blocking and shipment specifications.
- Assist with load adjustments to ensure safe and accurate outbound shipments.
- Operate or learn to operate Taylor 550 forklifts skid steers and potentially yard trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Support overall yard operations including yard clean-up and completion of additional tasks assigned by the Yard Manager or Site Manager.
Work Environment
- Outdoor and industrial yard environment
- Regular exposure to heavy equipment moving vehicles and varying weather conditions
- Requires adherence to strict safety standards and protocols
Qualifications :
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience
- Previous experience in quality control or yard operations preferred
- Experience operating Taylor 550 forklifts is a plus
- Willingness to learn and operate forklifts skid steers and yard trucks
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and material handling procedures

Additional Information :
Pay/Benefits/Perks
- Base salary $18-$19 /hr
- Accrue up to five days PTO in first year. Two-weeks vacation plus one week PTO accrue on first anniversary
