As a Sales Representative youll be the driving force behind expanding SGSs footprint in the Minerals & Metals sector. Youll engage directly with clients identify new business opportunities and deliver tailored solutions that meet their operational and compliance needs. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on sales execution requiring resilience curiosity and a passion for results.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition & Retention: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across BENELUX and Germany. Build long-term relationships with clients in the commodities sector.
- Solution Selling: Understand SGSs service portfolio and craft compelling proposals that address client challenges in testing inspection and certification.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends competitor activity and regulatory changes to position SGS as a trusted advisor.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute sales campaigns pricing strategies and client engagement plans.
- Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales activities pipeline development and client feedback using CRM tools.

- Navigating complex procurement cycles in a highly regulated industry
- Differentiating SGSs value proposition in a competitive market
- Balancing short-term sales targets with long-term relationship building
- Managing diverse client expectations across technical and commercial domains
Qualifications :
What You Bring
- Proven experience in B2B sales preferably in industrial services commodities or TIC (Testing Inspection Certification) sectors
- Strong communication skills in Dutch French and English
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently for client meetings and industry events
- A proactive mindset with a knack for uncovering client needs and translating them into actionable solutions
