This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations supervising clinical staff and ensuring compliance with all Adult Day Health and PACE regulatory requirements while supporting high-quality care for an aging and medically complex OverviewJob Type: PermanentRole: Adult Day Health Coordinator / SupervisorSupervises: Certified Nursing Assistants Lead CNA Nutritional AideReports To: Operations DirectorFLSA Status: ExemptSetting: Adult Day Health Center / PACE-aligned programKey ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day operations of the Adult Day Health CenterSupervise orient train and evaluate Certified Nursing Assistants and support staffServe as the clinical triage nurse and provide 24-hour care coordinationEnsure compliance with Adult Day Health PACE federal state and local regulationsConduct and oversee nursing assessments per regulatory and organizational standardsCoordinate participant care plans and ensure timely follow-through on provider ordersServe as liaison between clinical staff administration participants and familiesParticipate in audits quality improvement initiatives and compliance activitiesManage vendors supplies equipment and departmental workflowsAssist with budget development and monitoringParticipate in on-call rotation as assignedClinical & Operational DutiesDirect participant care based on nursing assessmentsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve care issuesCommunicate with families and connect participants to internal and external resourcesEnsure Adult Day Health representation at daily operational meetingsMaintain accurate documentation and written reportsSupport caregiver staff and participant education initiativesQualificationsActive North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license requiredBSN preferredMinimum 5 years of nursing experienceMinimum 2 years of management or supervisory experienceAt least 1 year of experience working with geriatric frail or elderly populationsExperience in home care long-term care or Adult Day Health strongly preferredPACE experience highly desirableSkills & CompetenciesStrong leadership supervision and clinical judgment skillsKnowledge of holistic geriatric care and chronic disease managementExcellent interpersonal organizational and communication abilitiesAbility to manage complex clinical and interpersonal situations professionallyAnalytical and problem-solving skillsComfortable teaching mentoring and facilitating group learningAbility to meet physical demands of the role including lifting up to 50 lbsAdditional RequirementsValid North Carolina drivers license and reliable transportationAbility to meet all competency requirements prior to independent practiceMust be able to perform duties involving potential exposure to bloodborne pathogensAboutTinkBird is a comprehensive healthcare recruiting and job placement firm for locum tenens and permanent medical placements.
