Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Mopar parts department as a Counter Assistant. This role involves providing exceptional customer service assisting with parts inventory management and supporting the overall operations of the parts department.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Identify customer needs and provide accurate information about parts and accessories.
- Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- Stock shelves and organize parts effectively.
- Assist with receiving and processing incoming parts shipments.
- Locate and retrieve parts for customers and technicians.
- Process customer orders including special orders and backorders.
- Verify part numbers and pricing information.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to expedite orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with various administrative tasks as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in the automotive industry or parts department preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with relevant software.
