Job Summary
- Work across the Foster Care Case Management & Recruitment & Support
- Fixed term to June 30th 2026extension based on funding
- Guide support & build the team capacity to generate better outcomes
The Job:
You are a senior practitioner and therefore we want you to bring to extensive knowledge and experience to the role so you can guide and support others in the team.
Key responsibilities include: hold a complex case load as well as supporting carers that require additional support. Direct casework with children their families and their carers case management responsibilities facilitating contact between children and their families liaising with external agencies and professionals participating in staff meetings participating in regular supervision with Team Leader and attending Professional Development opportunities.
Make your mark:
- The experience to lead others and offer secondary consults on complex cases
- Providing children & young people with foster care placements that will support their development & maintain safety
- Provide case management to childrenand young people in foster care placements
- Work collaborative with DFFH and other services providers
- Prepare written reports maintain records and manage time effectively and efficiently
- Liaise with and coordinate the actions of clients volunteer caregivers and a range of professionals and other services
Make it work:
- You get a salary starting at $110000 plus super
- Negotiable through the increments dependent upon experience.
- Salary packaging is available up to $15900 plus an entertainment card.
- SCHCADS award level 6.
- Fixed term full time until 30th June 2026. (extension dependent upon team movement and ongoing funding)
- Work from our great office space in Dandenong.
