Role: Residential Support Worker

Employment Type: Permanent Part Time & Casual

Location: Perth South of the river

In this role youll work with a live-in Senior Residential Carer and a supportive team to provide a safe homelike environment where children and young people can develop independence manage emotions strengthen problem-solving skills and reconnect with education and community.

Our residential homes care for children and young people 24/7 so applicants must be available and willing to work a variety of shifts including afternoons evenings and weekends.

  • Promote independence and build community connections
  • Encourage and support young peoples interests
  • Build rapport and collaborate to achieve positive outcomes
  • Manage behavioural escalations and assist with emotional regulation
  • Support daily living skills (cooking housework laundry)
  • Communicate with the care team and report incidents promptly
  • Administer medication when required
  • Maintain progress notes and records
  • Role Requirements

    Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check WA Working with Children Check and WA DCP395 check.
