Nights: $4.50/hr
Weekends: $3.00/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $15000

Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality patient-centered respiratory care in an acute care hospital environment. This role supports adult pediatric and neonatal patient populations and requires strong clinical expertise in ventilation management emergency response and interdisciplinary collaboration. The RRT plays a vital role in delivering safe effective respiratory support while maintaining compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and document comprehensive respiratory assessments including breath sounds airway patency and cuff pressure
Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate patient status and respiratory care needs
Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen delivery systems aerosolized medications and chest physiotherapy
Assist with placement of artificial airways and initiate monitor and manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation
Monitor patient responses to therapy and intervene promptly in the event of adverse reactions
Assist with safe transport of ventilator-dependent patients
Respond to emergency and resuscitation events ensuring airway stability and effective ventilation
Maintain accurate timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
CRT-only experience does not qualify
Active Florida RRT/RCP license (in hand)
Associate Degree in Respiratory Care
Current BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
NRP certification required within 6 months of hire
ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
PALS certification required within 6 months of hire
Preferred experience in Labor & Delivery and/or Critical Care settings
