Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced iOS Technical Lead to design develop and enhance iOS application components as part of the CBG Technology team. This is a hands-on role focused on building high-quality scalable mobile applications aligned with the CBG technology roadmap. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams across Singapore and India contributing to feature development performance optimization and timely delivery of enterprise-grade mobile solutions.

Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain advanced native iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C

Collaborate with product owners UX designers testers and backend teams to define design and deliver new features

Translate business and functional requirements into robust technical implementations

Perform unit testing UI testing and code reviews to ensure code quality stability and reliability

Identify and resolve bugs performance bottlenecks and memory issues

Apply best practices in mobile architecture design patterns and coding standards

Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools frameworks and technologies to improve development efficiency

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning reviews and retrospectives

Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for automated builds testing and deployments

Ensure applications meet security performance and compliance standards particularly for banking and financial use cases

Requirements

Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related discipline.

710 years of proven software development experience with strong expertise in iOS application development.

Hands-on experience with Swift Objective-C Cocoa Touch and Xcode.

Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks such as Core Data Core Animation Core Graphics and Core Text.

Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSON-based services.

Familiarity with third-party libraries and frameworks (e.g. Alamofire PromiseKit ObjectMapper).

Strong understanding of the full mobile application development lifecycle.

Experience with design patterns such as MVC MVP and VIPER.

Hands-on experience in unit testing UI testing test-driven development and code coverage.

Experience with testing frameworks such as XCTest Quick and Nimble.

Experience using CocoaPods and Carthage for dependency management.

Working knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Bitbucket Jenkins Maven and Bamboo.

Exposure to AWS and cloud-based environments is a plus.

Experience integrating with middleware platforms such as Kony Mobile Fabric (preferred but not mandatory).

Prior experience working on banking or financial services applications.

Strong understanding of iOS UI design patterns and best practices.

Familiarity with analytics frameworks such as Firebase Google Analytics or Facebook Analytics.

Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to evolving technical landscapes

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field

Postgraduate or professional certifications are preferred but not mandatory
