Job Summary
The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) is a leading school for sustainability and environmental research. The key objective is to support efforts to excellence in providing advanced education spearheading groundbreaking research and delivering unparalleled professional services.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and construct electrochemical systems.
Integrate electrochemical systems with wild type or engineered microorganisms.
Perform experiments to validate the performance of microbial electrochemical systems.
Utilize the integrated systems for carbon dioxide fixation and the synthesis of valuable bioproducts.
Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and intellectual property (IP) disclosures.
Maintain high standards of laboratory safety documentation and quality control.
Job Requirements:
PhD degree in material engineering environmental science and engineering or related field
Familiarity with electrochemistry and other relevant net-zero technologies
Hands-on laboratory experience in relevant experimental research.
A record of publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals in electrochemistry or related fields.
Good written and oral communication skills
