Sales Administrator
Hatched Talent Solutions has partnered with a successful distribution business based in Newbury that is looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to join the team permanently.
With a bold vision to become the most trusted international partner in their field theyre working towards an exciting 5-year target of reaching 6.5 million in revenue and this role plays a key part in getting there.
Were now hiring a Sales Administrator to join their close-knit fast-moving team. This is an opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a passion for service to step into a vital support role that sits at the heart of sales operations and customer success.
The Role
As Sales Administrator youll support both internal teams and external customers by keeping processes smooth orders accurate and communications clear. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Processing and tracking incoming sales orders
- Handling customer queries via phone and email with professionalism and care
- Preparing quotes sales materials and assisting the sales team with logistics
- Keeping CRM and internal records updated and accurate
- Liaising with the purchasing team to manage delivery schedules and stock queries
- Providing after-sales support (e.g. MSDS documentation issue resolution)
- Managing complaints and ensuring timely resolution with a customer-first mindset
What Were Looking For
Experience & Skills:
- Prior experience in sales administration or a customer-facing role
- Strong IT skills including Outlook Excel and cloud-based systems (e.g. Unleashed Sage SAP)
- Confident and professional phone manner
- Excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability
Personal Traits:
- Organised and reliable with a proactive problem-solving attitude
- Customer-centric with a collaborative team-focused approach
- Curious energetic and not afraid to take initiative
