Sean 2024 Graduate Manufacturing Engineer
Joining the Raytheon Graduate Development Programme (GDP) as a Graduate Manufacturing Electronics Engineer has allowed me to successfully transition between university and the job industry. As a new graduate I have already been given great responsibilities and been very much engaged in the full operations within the company with many great engineers managers and other employees who have been very welcoming and supportive from the start. As a graduate I dont feel afraid to ask questions as everyone understands thatI am still learningand I am encouraged to question current processes as being a new set of eyes within the company has been emphasised as being crucial for future development.
The GDP itself has been very beneficial to me so far allowing me to connect with people across the whole of the UK not just engineers but other company employees in which I probably wouldnt have had that opportunity to connect with otherwise. The GDP is extremely insightful and beneficial for growth not just as an employee but on a personal level working on enhancing everyday skills such as communication Teamwork Leadership and more. It has taught me of couple things about myself in which I think has already been benefiting me. Cole 2025 Graduate Manufacturing Electronics Engineer
