The Team
The Thompson Okanagan team is a diverse and established group of 18 dedicated professionals who have been proudly serving clients through FrontCounter BC for over 20 years. We work closely with Client Service Representatives Natural Resource Specialists Biologists and other experts to process natural resource permits that support both economic growth while maintaining stewardship of BCs natural resources. Our team values collaboration inclusion and exceptional client service in a fast-paced high-volume environment where everyones contributions make a meaningful impact in our Thompson Okanagan communities.
The Role
As a Permitting Clerk with FrontCounter BC youll play an important role in supporting clients through the Fish & Wildlife Permit process by responding to inquiries reviewing applications and providing reception support in person by phone and by email. Youll have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple teams across different business lines gaining a wide range of skills and experience that can help you grow your career in the public service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with people thrives in a smaller supportive team environment and takes pride in delivering accurate high-quality service to clients across British Columbia.
