What youll do :
- Supervise day-to-day rotor operations across machining disassembly assembly and final balancing processes during the shift.
- Lead a team of hourly employees including technicians machinists and inspectorsensuring compliance with safety quality and production targets.
- Support standard work execution escalate abnormalities and drive quick containment and countermeasures.
- Ensure shift handovers are effective with proper documentation and communication of open issues.
- Collaborate with the Rotor Operations Leader and other supervisors to balance workload cover manpower gaps and support delivery plans.
- Partner with the Rotor Method Engineer and PQE to troubleshoot technical and quality issues.
- Coordinate with the Material Specialist on availability of parts and kits needed for rotor work scopes.
- Monitor 5S and housekeeping standards; drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.
- Actively support time and attendance management shop discipline and employee coaching.
- Participate in daily tier meetings and production reviews.
- Support training and onboarding of new employees to ensure competency in critical processes.
What youll bring :
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Industrial or Manufacturing Engineeringor equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing maintenance or repair environment preferably in rotating equipment or turbine components.
- Experience with repair or assembly of heavy industrial equipment (e.g. rotors compressors turbines).
- Prior leadership or team lead experience is a strong advantage.
What will make you stand out:
- Working knowledge of Lean principles Root Cause Analysis and shop floor problem-solving.
- Familiarity with EHS QMS and ISO procedures.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across multi-functional teams.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings route cards and process instructions.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and basic MS Office tool
