Job Summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a creative and motivated Design Technology Teacher to join a thriving and forward-thinking secondary school in Southampton. This is a full-time permanent role starting in January and offers the chance to work within a well-resourced DT department.
Job Overview
You will be responsible for:
Teaching Design Technology across KS3 and KS4 with potential to specialise depending on expertise
Delivering a balance of practical and theory-based lessons
Supporting students in developing design manufacturing and problem-solving skills
Planning schemes of work aligned with curriculum expectations
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
Maintaining a safe and well-organised workshop environment
Contributing to departmental planning and continuous improvement
