An outstanding-rated school in Slough is seeking an experienced and highly organised Site Manager to take responsibility for the effective management safety and development of the school site. This is a full-time permanent position starting in January or by agreement offering the opportunity to work within a high-performing and well-led school environment.
Job Overview
You will be responsible for:
Managing the day-to-day operation of the school site ensuring buildings and grounds are safe secure and well maintained
Leading and overseeing site staff caretakers and contractors to ensure high standards are consistently met
Taking responsibility for health and safety compliance risk assessments and statutory checks
Managing site security including opening and closing procedures and emergency response
Overseeing maintenance schedules repairs and improvement works
Managing budgets ordering supplies and liaising with external providers
Supporting senior leadership with site development and long-term planning

Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience in a site management facilities or estates role
Strong working knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance
Experience managing staff and external contractors
Practical maintenance knowledge and strong organisational skills
