Job Summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and knowledgeable Chemistry Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Bristol. This is a full-time permanent position starting in January or by agreement suitable for both experienced teachers and confident ECTs looking to develop within a supportive science department.
Job Overview
You will be responsible for:
Teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Supporting students in developing strong practical analytical and problem-solving skills
Delivering and overseeing practical experiments in line with health and safety requirements
Assessing tracking and reporting on student progress to inform future planning
Maintaining high standards of behaviour engagement and academic expectation
Contributing to departmental planning and the wider science curriculum
