The Opportunity & Role Profile
A leading Independent School in Bristol requires a proactive and experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for the operational maintenance security and safety of its historic campus. This is a leadership role within the estates team requiring a mix of strategic planning and hands-on maintenance oversight.
Core Responsibilities & Scope
Operations Oversight: Managing the daily schedule for the caretaking and cleaning teams and acting as the primary key holder for the site.
Compliance Lead: Ensuring the school meets all statutory requirements for Health and Safety fire safety and water hygiene.
Project Liaison: Supervising external contractors and managing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules to ensure the site remains in peak condition.
Compensation & Benefits
Essential Requirements: Proven experience in facilities or site management ideally within an educational setting. Relevant health and safety qualifications (e.g. IOSH) are essential.
Salary: Highly competitive salary paid on the schools independent pay scale (expected to be 38000 - 46000 per annum).
