Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the team to deliver a streamlined user experience with opportunities to work on the front-end code base as well as the full stack.

The role involves conducting system analysis design development and testing of technical products and applications within an Agile/DevOps delivery model while ensuring high availability quality and operational excellence.

Product / Team Context

The role supports systems responsible for managing and executing type approval (homologation) processes across the full product lifecycle.

This includes enabling compliant products through digitised and automated IT processes ensuring audit-ready transparent and reliable information management to support timely market access.

Qualifications & Experience

Relevant IT Degree
Minimum 3 years experience in a Mid to Senior role
More than 6 years total development experience

Essential Skills & Technologies

Back-End Development: Java Quarkus framework API design
Databases: SQL using PostgreSQL
Testing: Unit testing frameworks such as JUnit
Containerisation: Docker building and using container images
Version Control: Git (GitHub Enterprise)
CI/CD: Build and deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions
Build Tools: Maven
Adaptability to additional responsibilities under the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

Advantageous Skills

Cloud infrastructure experience on AWS or Azure
Front-End Development: Angular HTML CSS JavaScript
Understanding of JavaScript frameworks and libraries (jQuery TypeScript)
Familiarity with UX principles and tools such as Figma

Key Responsibilities

Conduct system analysis design development and testing for assigned applications
Maintain develop deploy and operate backend and frontend cross-platform applications using Java and Angular
Implement robust automated test cases to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements
Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures and system documentation
Support operational excellence goals through strong operations knowledge
Resolve escalated support topics as part of a tier-3 DevOps role
Plan and execute upgrades of applications tools and features
Create cloud-native solutions to ensure world-class uptime and business agility
