Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format): Security Systems Administrator (Contract Remote Preferably Local)
- Support the implementation maintenance and monitoring of security systems across IT infrastructure.
- Deploy and configure firewalls IDS/IPS and endpoint protection solutions.
- Apply system hardening techniques to strengthen security posture.
- Set up and maintain user accounts permissions and authentication systems.
- Enforce Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices.
- Monitor security logs and alerts for events and potential incidents.
- Investigate and resolve security incidents promptly.
- Apply system patches and updates regularly.
- Document system configurations security procedures and deliverables.
- Collaborate with client teams to deliver client-focused security solutions within defined timelines.
- Role is ideal for professionals with strong skills in short-term high-impact security projects.
Required Skills:
- Intune experience.
- IAM (Identity and Access Management) experience.
- 3 years of network experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Palo Alto Firewall experience.
- IDS/IPS experience.
- CrowdStrike or Tanium experience.
