Kforce has a client in San Antonio TX that is seeking a DevSecOps Arcitect.
Summary:
We are seeking a DevSecOps Architect with strong Application and QA expertise to help modernize development practices and support engineering teams across a large enterprise-scale organization. This role will play a key part in establishing secure development standards and integrating security throughout the application lifecycle. The team is undergoing structural changes resulting in increased collaboration and a strong need for leadership in modern engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with application development and QA teams to embed security best practices across the SDLC
* Lead implementation of secure CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and validation
* Utilize GitHub and GitHub AI to improve code quality security scanning automation and developer workflows
* Define and enforce modern DevSecOps standards practices and tooling across multiple engineering groups
* Support teams with application-level security automated QA frameworks and quality engineering practices
* Provide technical leadership and guidance within an evolving organizational structure
* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to promote secure delivery modernization and consistent engineering practices
Required Skills : * Azure certification preferred * Proven experience as a DevSecOps Architect or similar senior role supporting application development and QA * Expertise in secure CI/CD pipelines application security test automation and modern DevSecOps tooling * Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub AI required * Strong understanding of cloud-based development environments * Ability to lead influence and guide teams through modernization and organizational change * Experience working in large enterprise environments with complex engineering ecosystems
