Shift: 6:30 PM 7:00 AM (nights) 8 wks Patient Diagnoses: CHF COPD Pneumonia Respiratory Failure Respiratory Infections Special Procedures/Unit Details: ABG Sampling Ventilator Mgmt. Patient Assessment Skills Med Administration Pulmonary Hygiene Special Equipment: Hamilton Vent Servo-U NKV330 V60 Certifications: BLS RRT Must have an active license in hand Skills: Adult Critical Care Emergency Department Extubation Intubation Assist Nasal airway placement Nasal airway suctioning Oral airway placement Oral/nasal Suctioning Sputum specimen collection Suctioning (ETT NT) Tracheostomy care/management Hand held T-piece Trach collar Bag and mask ET Tube High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) T-piece Trach collar BiPAP CPAP Troubleshooting high pressure alarms Weaning from mechanical ventilation Long term care experience Years of Experience Required: 1 year Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler: Y Float Required: Y - from LTC to Acute care as needed Weekend Coverage: EOW # Weekend Shifts per Contract: 6 weekend shifts per 13 week contract. For all Eastern Region contracts a personal car is required. Uber and rideshare services are unreliable due to the rural nature of many locations.
