The candidate should be based out of the United States of America ideally somewhere that overlaps with EST and will have the flexibility to work remotely with occasional travel to an office location or to a client location when required.
About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our clients Enterprise Data team. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of hands-on experience with a deep understanding of the P&C insurance domain strong data modelling capabilities and advanced skills in Snowflake. Experience working with Agency Management Systems such as EPIC and AMS360 is a significant advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust data models to support business analysis and reporting.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Design build and optimize data pipelines and transformation processes using Snowflake.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders data engineers and IT to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Create dashboards reports and ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives across underwriting claims finance and operations.
- Leverage domain knowledge of P&C insurance to derive insights and drive business value.
- Integrate data from Agency Management Systems (EPIC AMS360) and other relevant sources.
- Support data governance quality and documentation initiatives.
Requirements:
- 8 years of experience in data analytics data modelling or business intelligence roles.
- Strong understanding of the Property & Casualty insurance business lines.
- Proficient in Snowflake including SQL schema design and performance optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) and familiarity with Python or other scripting languages
- Experience with data management data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with data from Agency Management Systems such as Vertafore AMS360 or Applied EPIC. Is a plus
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure and modern data stack tools
