Our client seeks to appoint an experiencedMaintenance Coordinatorat their Isipingo plant reporting into the Production Superintendent. This is a critical role responsible forcoordinating maintenance activitiesacross their chemical plants ensuringoptimal plant performance and safety compliance.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure full compliance with company safety policies and procedures
- Liaise effectively with production and maintenance teams to maintain MA and PA plants
- Generate work orders and participate in maintenance planning meetings
- Issue hot and cold work permits daily including comprehensive risk assessments
- Monitor and manage the MA and PA plant maintenance budget
- Identify solve and communicate operational problems as they arise
- Commission equipment following maintenance activities
- Recommend improvements to enhance plant efficiency and reliability
- Plan and coordinate plant shutdowns and start-ups
- Be available for late shifts and call-outs when plant requirements demand
Must have Matric/Grade 12 with acompleted BSc or BTech Chemical Engineeringdegree and at least 5 years experience in a similar chemical manufacturing environment. Must have own reliable transport and be available for late shift and call outs. Must be computer literate.
